Accessibility statement
We want every visitor to be able to use the V2V website, including people who use assistive technology.
This page is a working draft prepared by the website team. It is not part of the documents approved by MB30 and is pending legal review.
Points that still need a decision by MB30 or its counsel are marked like this: To confirm: decision pending.
Our target
The website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the W3C.
What we have done
- Keyboard access to menus, dialogs and the cookie settings, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations use only fading and movement, can be paused where they repeat, and are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on mobile and no horizontal scrolling from 320 pixels wide.
- Form fields with labels, and error messages next to the field they concern.
- Legal documents published as structured web pages with numbered contents, not only as PDF files.
Conformance status
Partially conformant: we believe most of the website meets WCAG 2.2 AA, based on a self-assessment during development. It has not yet been audited by an independent expert To confirm: audit date and method before claiming conformance.
Known limitations
- The animated 3D coins and illustrations are decorative and carry no information.
- Some charts in the client area may not yet have a full text alternative.
- The official PDF documents are Word exports and may not be fully tagged for screen readers; the same text is available on these web pages.
Report a barrier
If something on the website is hard to use, email [email protected] with the subject "Accessibility", the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within To confirm: response time and, where we can, to provide the information in another format.
